After work this week I was just beat, I really didn't want to do much more than come home, and rest. So that was what I did for most of the evenings. Tuesday I spent the evening Reading some short storries, The Lottery, A Good Man Is Hard to Find, The Saint. and a few more. I needed something to read so I bought a small paperback compilation of stories and these where some I found nice. I plan to look up some scholarly reviews later and see what they say, because I am that much of a nerd. Each has its good and bad points to me. I encourage you all to give them a glance.
Wednesday I spent the evening talking to two of my best friends Kat, and Santi. I've known them both since High School and worked with them both at different times. It was really nice to get to talk to them and hear what is going on in the home front. I definitely am starting to miss my friends, and can't wait to see them again in July.

Friday night I spent in a nice worm bath, my back was killing me and I wanted to have a nice soak. It turned out to be very relaxing and just what the sore back needed. I also listened to a lot of episodes of a BBC radio show called Cabin Pressure. I find it a quite enjoyable show and am Currently listening to the old seasons.
Sunday was of course Mothers Day, and this was the first that I wasn't home for. However I still managed to have one of my friends deliver Roses and York patties to her for me.
I have to say that I was truely blessed to have the Mom I do. After All I have been through in life my mom was always the one behind me pushing me along. Though I don't always want to hear what she says she has always given me good advice, and forces me to look at things from other perspectives. Weather it was me coming to Germany, thinking of staying in Germany, or the April fools prank where everyone thought I had decided. She stood behind me and encouraged me to go forward. And now as we begin to move into yet another new chapter of my life I am glad that she is the one I know I can turn to.
