During our stay we had four seminars with different members and branches of the program. On tuesday the 30 we went to meet our congressional representative, unfortunately Mr. Goodlatte was unavailable and I met with his staff. We then had the evening free to explore..
I ended up jumping groups several times through the evening and eventually met up with Bri and kwazi. The three of us beboped around trying to figure out the DC bus system.
eventually we made it back finished the rest of the seminars and them we headed for the plane. I wish I had some pictures while on board but it just slipped my mind. Anyway upon arrival in Germany we were met and transported to a university outside of Frankfurt Germany.
The GIZ (organization hosting us) was very kind and got us single rooms to stay in so we could relax a bit. with a private bathroom.

I've been in county for 12 hours now and I'm starting to feel the jet lag really bad, only a few hours and I can sleep it off. Sadly these are all I have for pictures, wish i had more but theres always tomorrow.
That's so exciting! I'm glad you made it there safe and sound. Are you still with the other 74 participants, or have they already split you guys up and sent you to different places in Germany?

As of when this was written they had yet to split us up. We flew out of Dulles International Airport on July 31,2013, and landed on Aug 1, 2013. We stayed in budenhiem for 2 days (Aug 1,2, 2013). We then were moved to our language schools located in Konn (Cologne), Saarbrucken, and where I am at Radolfzell. There are 18 of us living in Radolfzell at the current timem and they are a blast.
